The Club organise various Events over the course of the year, details of these are below

Over the Summer months (June to Sept) our first Thursday of the month Club Evenings move outdoors, these evenings often include a BBQ

April 7th Good Friday Work Party, 11am
May 13th - (Saturday) Season opening Fun Fly - Invasion Day - Fun Fighters, Warbirds, Tanks etc plus BBQ
May 21st - (Sunday) BMFA F5J Glider Competition - Field Closed to Members flying unless competing (Date to be confirmed)
June 1st - (Thursday) Club Night Glider Evening 6pm onwards, plus BBQ
June 11th - (Sunday) Airborne Fun Fly, 10am until 4pm, plus BBQ
June 21st - (Wednesday) Solstice Fun Fly, 6pm onwards, plus BBQ
July 6th - (Thursday) Club Night Concourse Evening 6pm onwards, plus BBQ
July 9th - (Sunday) Glider Day inc Sinbad Glider mass fly 10am until 4pm, plus BBQ
August 3rd - (Thursday) Club Night Fun Fly Competition Evening 6pm onwards, plus BBQ
August 19th - (Saturday) BMFA Achievement Scheme Test Day 11am onwards
September 3rd - (Thursday) Club Night Night Glow Fun Fly 6pm onwards, plus BBQ
September 6th - (Sunday) Warbird Day, 10am until 4pm, plus BBQ
September 26th - (Saturday) Season closing Fun Fly, 10am until 4pm

In addition to the above our members keen on E Soaring, hold Tuesday evening Glider events, and informal competitions, start time 6pm (ish)

During the year we hold Club Nights on the First Thursday of the Month, these are held at Millennium Hall, Roffey, Horsham, RH12 4DT.

Times are 7:30pm until 10pm

Dates for 2026 are :- (Feb, March, April and May, subject to change until we can confirm the 1st Aid date with 1st Responders)
